I trained for three and a half years at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine  for a BSc(Hon) in Acupuncture. This training allows me to diagnose and treat according to the principles of Traditional Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The style of Traditional Acupuncture that I use is based on Five Element Constitutional Acupuncture with the emphasis on the diagnosis and treatment of a primary imbalance. This style of treatment places particular priority on the health of the person's body, mind and spirit and stresses preventive treatment.

Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on the concept of Qi - the body's motivating energy. Qi consists of equal and opposite qualities - Yin and Yang. When the flow of Qi is disturbed, and/or the Yin and Yang are unbalanced, illness may result. Traditional Chinese Medicine's diagnosis recognises the patterns of disharmony resulting from these imbalances.

My training in both styles allows me to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
